Training

Training schedule:

  • Monday - swimming 1900-2030
  • Wednesday - swimming 1830-2030
  • Friday – biking / Spinning session (Timings TBC)
  • Saturday - biking / running 1000-1200

Swimming

We train twice a week at Richmond Swimming Pool and when the weather improves and the temperatures rise we do our Open Water training at Ellerton Lake, Scorton.

Cycling

We carry out weekly cycling sessions on a Saturday morning at Brompton on Swale community sports hall, but we also encourage our members to compete in the following:- The League International (TLI) Series at Croft circuit (May-July) and also the Richmond CC 10 mile TT on Thursday nights in the summer.

The club is affiliated to the Road Time Trial Championship and we encourage participation at their events. In winter/extreme weather (it is Yorkshire!) cycle training is indoors at spinning classes or Turbo sessions.

When we get the chance the club run sessions at the off road circuit at the Middlesbrough sports village.

Running

Running sessions are mixed with the weekly Saturday biking sessions. We actively promote and encourage participation in all the local Parkruns (when not at our sessions), every Saturday at 09:00. Our closest being Catterick or slightly further afield Darlington or Northallerton, keep an eye out for us.
